What we do
Ink and Soul C.I.C. is a creative organisation that champions expression, wellbeing and community connection. Everything we do is rooted in creativity with heart.
A Travelling Library
At the heart of Ink and Soul is The Lost Luggage Library! With a large marquee opening out next to the trailer, there will be shelves brimming with books, beanbags and space to read, write and connect. The Lost Luggage Library is designed to travel to both festivals and local events.
Live Performance & Workshops
Live performances from interactive storytelling to musical cabaret, the trailer will travel with its very own fold-out stage and space for creative workshops. From festivals to fetes, the trailer can become a tiny travelling theatre space whether its set up in field, a car park or a woodland!
Creative Writing Programmes
Through our Young Author’s Programme, we help young people in hospital bring their stories to life - supporting them to write original tales, which we then publish as professionally illustrated books. These powerful voices join our travelling library, so their words journey far and wide.

Ink and Soul is a new Community Interest Company with a clear and heartfelt mission: to spark creativity, uplift voices and build community through the written word.
Ink and Soul's journey is only just beginning as we find the support necessary to convert the trailer, build the library and curate its books. At the heart of this work is a belief that all young people deserve the chance to create, connect and be heard, but there's still a long way to go.

We are in the process of painting and converting the horse box into a surprising, unfolding performance space, but there's so much potential and we can't wait to show you the finished trailer!
We plan to curate live storytelling, musical acts and other small performances of all kinds for all ages.
The Lost Luggage Library
A Travelling Library and Creative Sanctuary
Travelling with the trailer, the Lost Luggage Library can unfold out into any outdoor space! Inside a bespoke and bright marquee with book shelves and seating, The Library aims to become an accessible creative sanctuary, bringing books, storytelling and traditional paper crafts directly to festivals, community events, high streets, public gardens and carparks.
This pop-up area will offer: free reading for all ages; a calm space to write with free pens and paper; free storytelling sessions where families can help co-create original stories; and workshops such as paper craft and traditional bookbinding.
Young Authors Programme
With The Young Authors’ Programme, I hope to support young people who might struggle to be heard or express themselves. I hope to work with young people receiving long-term hospital care, those in foster system and in correctional behavior units.
Through a series of one-to-one creative writing sessions, we will work towards writing a piece of short fiction. Ink and Soul would then work with a professional illustrator to professionally publish their story as an illustrated hardback book - a proud keepsake for them and their families.
