The Project begins!

I've done it. I've got a horse trailer. It's a very small horse trailer, but I've got big plans for it.

It's a bit bright right now!

I remember attending a festival in the south west, possibly around 2018, and there was a library caravan there. We'd had a raucous week, and I couldn't believe when I saw the van. I sat with a gardening for a while (I'm an eager yet terrible gardener) and then read up on some British Mythology in a huge tome.

That moment of calm has never left me. A moment out of time where I had the freedom to pick up any book I fancied and I didn't have to think about its price or worry about carrying the huge thing home, or how I might keep it dry in my tent!

Since then, I've had a wild dream to run a travelling library. To bring that feeling I loved to anyone, of any age. The travelling library is only one small aspect of what I hope for Ink and soul, but I think it will be an important central focal point for sharing stories and meeting communities.

It needs a good lick of paint! I'm towing it away to its new home this week... having never towed anything before... wish me luck!
